Our story

Vestiarium is latin for wardrobe.

Vestiarium was created by three women with very different backgrounds but similar ideas and a passion to make dressing in a sustainable way easier - and more stylish. To create a collection of timeless but interesting pieces that you can mix and match for different occasions. The collection would be refreshed each season with new styles, fabrics and colours, but most of it would continue from season to season. Like a timeless capsule wardrobe. In the autumn of 2016 we launched the collection and opened our boutique in the Kämp Gallery in Helsinki.

Local production has always been another cornerstone for us – all Vestiarium’s pieces are made nearby: knitwear in Tuusula, Finland and other styles in Tallinn, Estonia. Both factories are small and family-owned, and we have been working with them from the beginning. Each of our garments is also signed by the person who made it.
Almost all our fabrics also come from Europe and most of the jerseys are made in Finland. We choose each fabric extremely carefully, to bring you high quality fabrics that are also friendly to the environment.
