sustainability checklist

Making sustainable choices should be made easier for the consumers. This is why we developed the sustainability checklist: a simple list for checking quickly the main details regarding a garment's sustainability. And to be as transparent and informative as we can. You can see these little tags hanging on our garments but you can also find them next to each product on our web shop.

Stavanger merino shirt, fabric made in Finland, mulesing-free

The main themes on the checklist are:

  • Country of manufacturing
  • Origin of the fabric
  • Sustainability factors regarding fibres, such as natural, organic or recycled fibres or surplus materials
  • Possible certificates - not all eco-friendly materials have certificates, for example if they are older stocks

You can find more detailed information, for example the origins of the raw materials, in the fabric information section next to each product.
